Overview

PetUsly creates AI portraits of you and your pet. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We keep things minimal and private by design.

What we collect

  • Your email address, used to attach credits and send order updates.
  • The photos you upload — your pet and yourself (and an optional second person).
  • The portraits we generate for your order.
  • Payment records, handled entirely by our payment processor (PayPal). We never see or store your full card number.
  • Cookie and analytics data, to understand how the site is used and improve it.

How your photos are used

Your uploaded photos are used solely to generate the portraits you order. They are never used for advertising, never sold, and never used to train AI models. Once your order is produced, the photos are no longer needed for any other purpose.

Third-party processors

To run the service we work with a small set of trusted providers, each processing only what is necessary:

  • fal.ai — generates your portraits from the uploaded photos.
  • PayPal — securely processes payments.
  • Google — anonymized analytics about site usage.
  • Resend — sends transactional emails (receipts, updates).
  • Our cloud storage — stores uploads and generated images.

Retention

Uploaded photos are automatically deleted 30 days after your order. Generated portraits remain available in your account so you can download them. You can delete any upload or generated image at any time from your account.

Cookies & analytics

We use a small number of cookies for essential functionality and anonymized analytics. You can manage non-essential cookies through the consent banner.

Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to opt out of the sale of personal information. Email us and we'll respond within 30 days. EU/UK residents may also lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority.

Children

PetUsly is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the date above.
